Eligibility Criteria for Non-Teaching Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Sr. Technical Assistant (Computer): MCA or M.Sc. (Computer Science/ IT from recognized university or institute with one year of work experience) or B.Tech./ B.E. (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ ECE) or equivalent degree with one year experience in relevant area.

• Sr. Assistant: Graduate with minimum 50 percent marks or Post Graduate with minimum 50 percent marks from recognized university in any discipline with working knowledge of computers and Diploma/Certificate of minimum 6 months duration in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline or Graduate degree with minimum 50 percent marks in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline from a recognized university or institute. Minimum 4 years of administrative experience is a must.

• Assistant: A Graduate from recognized university in any discipline with working knowledge of computers and Diploma/Certificates of minimum 6 months duration in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline or Graduate Degree in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years of administrative experience is a must.

• Jr. Assistant: A senior secondary school certificate (+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution with at least 50 percent marks or Graduate from recognized university and Diploma/Certificate of minimum 6 months duration in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline or Graduate Degree in Computer Application/ Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline.

• Professional Assistant: M.Lib. Sc./ M.L.I. Sc. Or equivalent with minimum 50 percent marks or Master's Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline with minimum 50 percent marks and B. Lib. Sc./B.L.I. Sc. with minimum 50 percent marks. Computer Science paper at Graduate/ PG Level of Six months Computer Science course from a recognized university or institute.

• Laboratory Assistant: A senior secondary school certificate (+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution in Science subjects with at least 50 percent marks or B.Sc. Graduate

• MTS: Matriculation or equivalent examination with Science subjects from recognized board (for Computer Laboratory Attendant). Computer as a subject at Secondary Level or Basic Course in Computers from any institute (for the post of Library Attendant- Certificate in Library Science/ Library & Information Science from a recognized institute).
