Jaipur, Aug 22: Self-employment courses would be started at college-level for the youth to improve their employability and enable them to start their own businesses, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said.
"In BJP's previous rule (2003-2008) a major programme of Rajasthan Skill Development was initiated, it brought fruits then and youths were linked with jobs", Raje said during her "sarkar apke dwar's jansunvaee" in Udaipur division's Choti Sadari town.
The self-employment courses would be started in colleges so that youths could start their business with a group of four-five unemployed men so that they could provide jobs to others too when business gets established, a CMO release, quoting her, said.
Now Prime Minister Narendra Modi would give it a final shape, and Rajasthan already has started livelihood mission for unemployed youths in a bigger way, Raje said.
