PESIT, Dept. of MCA Celebrates its Annual Technical Fest Esperanza '14

PESIT - Bangalore South Campus Dept. of MCA celebrated its annual inter-college technical fest Esperanza ‘14 on 24th and 25th of April.

The event spanning across 2 days witnessed a wide range of technical skills and events in which the students from various colleges in and around Bangalore showcased their talents.

The event was flagged off by the Director/Principal Dr. J Surya Prasad and Dr. Arti Arya, Head of Department MCA PESIT-BSC.

The students enthusiastically participated in a host of technical events, some of the most popular ones include Coding, Shell Scripting, Best Technocrat, Ideate (Product launching) and Tech Quiz.

The other massively popular events were the Cricket and the Computer Gaming (Counter Strike and Need for Speed) where the various teams battled it out to become the champions.

Other non-technical events which tried to uncover the other creative side of the future techies and also have some light moments after flexing their brains in events like Coding, Quizzing were the fun events like the Treasure hunt, Technical Dumb Charades, Tech Collage, Pixel Perfect (Photography) and Art Attack.

The day 2 of Esperanza ‘14 witnessed the semi-finals and finals of most of the events which was followed by a pre-valedictory break where the young techies swayed and sang along to the popular tunes of the likes of Pharrell Williams' Happy and Keep Your Head Up to name a few.

Esperanza ‘14 ended with the valedictory function at the end of the day, and a promise to come back bigger and better in the next iteration.
