Indian students going to UK, US varsities will increase by 50%

The financial conditions of the families of Indian students, who aspire to study abroad, have improved tremendously, which is expected to lead to the increase the number of Indian students going to study abroad by 50 percent. According to a survey carried out by a Singapore-based education technology Cialfo, the number of Indian students will increase by 50 percent within a span of five years.

 

According to Zee News, Indian students have been very keen on acquiring international education and experiences for carving a niche for themselves in the top range of fields, not just in India but in abroad as well.

Cialfo is linking up with Delhi-based educational institutions to aid students from India in securing places in the US and UK universities. Cialfo says that the annual Asian student market value at USD 4 billion in the UK and US universities.

More Indian students to go to UK, US for study

Whereas the market value of students across the world in UK and the US is estimated to be USD 80 billion per year.

According to the reports of British Council, there were 21,000 Indian students out of 493,570 international students in the UK in 2013-14.

According to the reports of Institute of International Education, there were 132, 888 Indian students amont 627, 306 Asian students in the year 2014-15.
