National Institute of Technology (NIT), Surathkal, has announced acceptance of application for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Chemistry Department.
Application must be a bio-data on a plain paper including the following:
* Passport-sized photograph
* Name
* Date of birth
* Age
* Postal address
* E-mail address
* Complete details of educational qualification from 10th class (SSLC) onwards stating marks, rank, year of passing, name of the university/ board
* Research experience
* Attested photocopies of candidate's professional and academic certificates
The post for JRF is invited for candidates to work in the Science and Engineering Research Board sponsored research project on "Design and synthesis of calorimetric Chemosensors for Environment Pollutant Cations" in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Mangalore for a period of 3 years.
Chosen candidate will be encouraged to register for the Ph. D programme at NIT Surathkal.
Candidates with the knowledge and experience of organic synthesis and research experience in relevant field will be given preference.

Eligibility: M. Sc. In Chemistry with 60% or GPA of 6.5 and above (preferably with organic chemistry) with valid GATE/CSIR-JRF Exam.
