The admit cards for the NEET 2017 have been released. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download it from the NEET official website.
When is the NEET exam?
This year, the examination will be held on May 7 at 104 examination cities across the country and in total 11, 35,104 aspirants have registered for the exam
How to download the NEET 2017 admit cards?
In order to download the NEET 2017 admit cards, follow the steps given here:
- Log on to the official website cbseneet.nic.in
- Click on the tab 'Admit Cards'
- Fill in your registration number, date of birth and security pin
- Click to submit
- Admit cards will appear on the screen
- Save it to your computer and take a printout for future reference
Note:
It is mandatory to carry admit cards to the examination centre. Along with admit cards, candidates need to carry one identity proof in original.
NEET 2017 Exam pattern:
- The test will consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions
- There will be four options with single correct answer
- The questions will be asked from physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology) subjects
- The answers need to be marked on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using ball point pen
- The duration of the exam will be of three hours
About NEET
NEET stands for National Entrance Eligibility Test. It is an entrance examination to screen undergraduate medical aspirants into private and government colleges for admission.
It was formulated in order to bring in a common entrance exam for the undergraduate medical courses. After a lot of legal arguments, NEET succesfully came into force on April 2016 replacing All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
