National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has increased the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) scholarship by 150%.
It was earlier Rs 500/- for each candidate, now it has been increased to Rs 1,250/- per month for class 11th and class 12th students.
The Ministry of Human Resource Department and Department of School Education has approved an increase in the NTSE scholarship examination.
Every more than 1.5 lakh candidates appear for the NTS examination. NSTSE ) is a scientifically designed skill based assessment test, for students of classes II to XII, (CBSE / ICSE /all State Board Syllabi). It will award the scholarship to 1,000 students across the country for young talent students.
NTSE 2015 examination will be held on January 25, 2015.
However, NTSE has also increased the scholarship amount for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
