Four states accept JEE Main 2014 scores

According to the latest available sources, states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha have agreed to accept the JEE Main 2014 scores for their state engineering courses admission for the academic year 2014.

Earlier, Maharashtra state had to conduct MT-CET for the state engineering courses admission. But now DTE Maharashtra has released the new notification saying that, for this year, engineering courses in the state will be based on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2014 paper 1 scores.

In addition to the JEE scores, state will also consider the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / class 12th marks for final admission.

CBSE has agreed to conduct JEE Main 2014 in three languages, i.e, Marathi, Gujarati and Urdu.

In addition to this, JEE exam will also be held in English and Hindi languages.

Odisha state government has agreed to consider both JEE Main 2014 and their state's own exam, OJEE 2014 examination.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct JEE Main 2014 on 06th April, across the country.

JEE is the qualifying entrance examination for admission to engineering courses in IITs, NITs, CFTIs and SFTIs.
