After the 6k engineering seats have been left vacant, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore has decided to conduct 3rd / extended online choice filling counselling from July 17.
After the 2nd round of online choice filling counseling, more than 6,000 engineering seats were left vacant. Further 6 Architecture, 79 B.Pharma / D.Pharma and 335 B.Pharm (lateral entry) seats were also left vacant.
However, the pending medical seats issue will be resolved.
Meanwhile, seats filling process in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will be closed.
KEA Executive Director Ramegowda said. "Even Choice-2 candidates can participate in this extended round".
The candidates who have secured low ranks in KCET 2014, have demanded that they be allowed to enter fresh online choice options.
