KCET Medical registration process has been postponed till February 21. Eligible aspirants can apply. According to the earlier schedule the registration date is expected to close on February 13.
Interested candidates can visit the official website to apply online. The state level entrance exam scheduled to be conducted on May 4 and 5.
KCET is a pen and paper based test, conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) . The test is being held to offer admissions into around 3300 MBBS seats in 42 medical colleges and 830 BDS seats in 38 dental colleges of Karnataka.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, while SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates must have 40 percent marks. Candidates must also have passed in second PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the languages.
- Those who will be appearing in Class 12/HSC exam can also apply for the exam but their admission will be offered only after fulfilling the required eligibility criteria.
Age Limit:
The candidates must be of 17 years of age on before December 31, 2016.
The exam will be conducted on two consecutive days.
- Paper 1, consisting of Biology will be held on May 4
- Paper 2, consisting of Physics and Chemistry, will be held on May 5
