Bangalore: Karnataka government contemplating to recruit about 9,511 teachers for primary schools. The recruitment process is expected to complete by January 2016.
Replying to a question of BJP member Ravisubramanya in the legislative assembly, law and parliamentary minister T B Jayachandra said the process of recruitment of teachers was underway and they would start issuing appointment orders from January.
"The government had appointed 15,980 guest teachers at government primary and high schools in order avoid students being affected due to the shortage of teachers," he added.
