The document verification process for the counselling to admissions in state's professional courses (Karnataka CET) has begun this week on Monday. will begin document verification for admission to professional courses on Monday. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is the body that is organising the admissions.
Important date
The verification will end on June 21.
Verification Centres for Karnataka CET
The KEA verification centres are spread across the state. They have 16 helpline centres where documents are verified. In ordert to attend the counselling, students should visit the centre chosen by them according to the allocated slot schedules.

Documents required
The students should take the following documents with them during the time of verification.
- SSLC marks card
- PU or Class 12 marks card
- Study certificate
Note:
For reserved candidates, they are required to produce the relevant certificates specified in the KEA brochure.
Instructions to follow
- Produce the original documents
- Keep a set of attested photocopies and two passport size photographs when they report for verification.
- (All original documents will be returned after verification and only photocopies will be retained)

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2017 is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility/ merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates and the ward/s of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants to the First year or First semester of full time courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses.
