Thousands of candidates expected for mains

Over 1150 positions were vacant and JSSC had earlier invited online applications for the recruitment process.

The openings for the posts were released by JSSC a couple of months ago and these results are a crucial factor for candidates to enter the next level of exam and clear it to secure the job.

Applicants had earlier downloaded the JSSC CGSCE PT Application 2016 and gave their tests on 21 September 2016 in different examination centres at Jharkand. Thousands of students took up the JSSC CGSCE ( PT) Exam 2016. Those candidates who have cleared the prelims will be allowed to attend the JSSC CGL Mains Exam on 27th November 2016.

Over 17,250 candidates are expected to be shortlisted for the main exam. The main exam will be conducted in two phases, each comprising two hours and both papers would consist of 150 questions.

The candidates who clear this exam will be appointed in state-run departments. They will get a pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs 4200. JSSC conducts various recruitment examinations on both state level and department level every year.
