Eligibility Criteria for University of Madras Teaching and Non Teaching Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Professors- Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

• Librarian- A Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.

• Director of Physical Education- A Master's Degree in Physical Education or Master's Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record.

Selection Procedure for University of Madras Teaching and Non Teaching Jobs:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the organization.

The University of Madras (Tamil: சென்னைப் பல்கலைக்கழகம்; informally known as Madras University) is a public state university in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.[1] Established in 1857, it is one of the oldest and premier universities in India.
