• Junior Engineer (Civil)- Junior Engineer (Civil). Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized institute

• Principal Ayurveda college, Principal Homoeopathy college - Officers of the Central/ State Government/ Autonomous bodies/ Statutory bodies fully funded by the Government

• Professor (Ayurveda), Associate professor (Ayurveda),Lecturer (Ayurveda), Medical Superintendent (Ayurveda), Clinical Registrar - Post Graduate degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970

• Professor Homoeopathy college ( Allied Subject) ,Reader (Homoeopathic Subjects), Reader (Homoeopathic college), Lecturer (Homoeopathy subject), Lecturer (Allied subject), Deputy Medical Superintendent (Homoeopathy Hospital) - Post Graduate degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973

• Anesthetist, Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Pediatrician, Radiologist- Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject recognized under IMC Act

• Surgical specialist- Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject recognized under IMC Act.1970

• Dentist- BDS recognized under the Dental Council Act

• Nursing Superintendent- M.Sc. Nursing from recognized university

• Staff Nurse- B.Sc. Nursing of 4 year duration from a recognized institute

• Dietician- Graduation in Food/Nutrition from any recognized university

• Physiotherapist- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University

• Radiographer- B.Sc. in Radiography from a recognized

About NEIAH:

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is a medical institute of India in Shillong, Meghalaya. It is located on the outskirts of the educational hub hills City of the Northeastern India, Shillong, the "Scotland of the East". The present full-fledged tertiary care hospital facilities started at its permanent campus at Mawdiangdiang, Shillong in the year 2007. It is an Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India in 1987 and declared as "Centre of excellence" by the parliament of India. The MBBS teaching programme of NEIGRIHMS started in 2008 with intake of 50 (fifty) students, followed by Post graduate courses in 4 (four) subjects - Anaesthesiology, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Pathology in the year 2009. It was formally inaugurated and dedicated to the nation on 5 March 2010 by the chairperson of the UPA, Smt Sonia Gandhi, the institute functioned from its present campus at Mawdiangdiang for some years before that.
