Indian Air Force (IAF) invited applications for the Group 'C' posts of Steno, Lower Division Clerk and Multi- Tasking Staff in IAF at HQ Central Air Command Units. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format so as to reach on or before 15 January 2016.

Indian Air Force Vacancy Details

  • Steno (Gr. II) - 01 Post
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC) - 02 Posts
  • Multi- tasking Staff (MTS) - 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria for Steno, LDC and MTS Posts 2015

Educational Qualification:

  • Steno (Gr. II): Higher Secondary (12th Standard) Pass with Certificate in Shorthand.
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Higher Secondary (12th Standard) Pass with Typing Speed @ of 35 w.p.m. in English and @ 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
  • Multi- tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th Standard) Pass or equivalent.

Age Limit for Steno and Multi- Tasking Staff Jobs

General: Between 18 to 25 years as on last date of receipt of application.

Age Limit for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Jobs

General: Between 18 to 27 years as on last date of receipt of application.

Eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format and send the application along with other necessary documents so as to reach on or before 15 January 2016.

About Indian Air Force:

The Indian Air Force (IAF; Devanāgarī: भारतीय वायु सेना, Bharatiya Vāyu Senā) is the air arm of the Indian armed forces. Its the World's 4th largest Airforce. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during a conflict. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire and the prefix Royal was added in 1945 in recognition of its services during World War II.
