JIPMER, Puducherry celebrates 5th convocation on 26th April 2014

JIPMER conducts 5th convocation on 26th April 2014

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry is all set conduct 5th annual convocation on 26th April 2014.

His excellency Shri. Bharat Suresh Joshi, British Deputy High Commissioner, would be the chief Guest and will deliver the convocation address.

Dr. Maharal Kishan Bhan, President JIPMER will preside over the function.

Candidates who have completed / will be completing their degrees on of before 10th April 2014 are eligible to receive their degrees certificates.

Candidates are required to download the convocation application available in the JIPMER website and submit the filled application on or before 15th April 2014.

The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 1,000/- through a dd drawn in favor of "The Accounts Officer", JIPMER, payable at Puducherry, along with the application, for issue of degree certificate.

About JIPMER:
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research originated as École de Médicine de Pondichérry established by the French Government in the year 1823. Later the medical school was converted into Dhanvantari Medical College at the time of de facto transfer of Pondicherry to Government of India. Medical College was later upgraded into Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).
