The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2015 post 3 pm on Monday on their official website.
The cut-off score for eligibility for JEE (Advanced) is 105 out of 360 this year for students in general category, down from last year's 115.
The cut-off in OBC category was 70 and for SC and ST it was 50 and 44 respectively.
The top 1.5 lakh candidates will be eligible to appear for the JEE (Advanced) for admissions to IITs. Close to 13 lakh students appeared for the test this year.
The examination is conducted for admissions into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines Dhanbad (ISM Dhanbad).
