JEE Main 2014 All India Rank list will be announced on July 7

JEE Main 2014 All India Rank will be on July 7

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi will announce the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2014 All India Rank (AIR) rank list on July 7.

AIR will be used for allocation for seats to the candidates.

CBSE will consider the JEE Main 2014 scores and class 12th marks to prepare AIR list.

Candidates are advised to visit the JEE Main 2014 website to check their class 12th marks details. If any of the candidates have not given their marks, they may have to add those marks; as June 30 is the last date for the confirmation of qualifying marks.

Centralised Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) allocates seats for admissions to 30 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), all Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) and self financed Technical Institutes (SFIs) for the academic year 2014-15.

CBSE and CSAB are two different and independent boards. CBSE conducted JEE (Main) examination and published the merit list. CSAB only uses the merit list published by CBSE for seat allocation purposes.

Admissions to these colleges are mainly based on JEE Main 2014 All India Rank list released by the CSAB.

Eligible candidates must have to register in CSAB website to lock their desired seats in any of the NITs, CFTIs, and SFIs.

In NITs, 50% of the seats will be from Home State Quota and the remaining 50% come from other State quota, i.e ., all other states and UTs except the Home State. Other states exclude home state. In CFTIs, IIITs and SFTIs, the seats will be allocated on the basis of HS/OS/All India Quota, as applicable.
