JEE Main 2014: Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch and B.Plan course

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, has issued important notice to the students applying for B.Arch and B.Plan course through JEE Main 2014.

CBSE has relaxed on the eligibility criteria for the students who apply for B.Arch and B.Planning course.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2014 online registration had commenced from 15th November 2013.

According to the notice, the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Arch and B.Plan courses in NITs and other CFTIs will be same, as that was in the year 2013.

For B.Arch and B.Plan: Candidates must have scored 50% of marks in Mathematics subject in class 12 examination, including five subjects.

These candidates, if appearing for improvement in all the four subjects in 2014, will be considered eligible for JEE examination.

JEE Main 2014 online registration will end on 26th December 2013.

However, the candidates who are appearing in class 12th qualifying examination in 2014, should have taken at least five subjects, in order to be eligible for taking JEE Main 2014 exam.

CBSE is set to conduct JEE Main 2014 examination on 6th April.

It is the qualifying entrance examination for admission to Engineering / Technology courses in IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and State Funded Technical Institutions across India.
