JEE Advanced 2016: Registration begins, apply online

The online registrations for the JEE Advanced has started from today i, e on April 29, 206. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, the organising institute of JEE (Advanced) 2016, has opened registrations for the IIT Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2016.

Aspirants who are interested can apply online till May 4, 2016.

How to Apply?

Candidates should follow the steps to apply online:

• Log on to the official website
• After login, provide the basic data including the choice of the language of question paper (English or Hindi), the choices for the cities of examination
• Upload the scanned copies of all requisite documents
• Candiadtes have to pay the registration fee. The registration fee is neither refundable nor transferable
• After submitting the same, candidates should take a print-out for future use

The JEE (Advanced) 2016 examination is scheduled to be held on May 22, 2016.

The exam is conducted to offer admission to various Bachelor's degree programmes in eighteen IITs and Indian School of Mines (ISM), along with other reputed engineering institutes.

Exam Pattern:

• The exam comprises of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2.
• Each paper will be held for a duration of 3 hours.

Exam Date:

• Paper 1: May 22, 2016 ( 9 am to 12 pm)
• Paper 2: May 22, 2016 (2 pm to 5 pm)
