Japan Education Fair 2014 – A successful event among Indian students

The Japan Education fair which was held yesterday at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi turned out be a successful event. The event drew more than 1300 students and visitors attending the fair from schools, colleges, etc.

The event also witnessed a large number of parents who accompanied their kids to help them choose a successful career.

In the event, there were representatives from 9 Japanese universities and one Japanese language school that participated in the fair organised by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and co-organized by Ritsumeikan India Office in collaboration with Embassy of Japan, The Japan Foundation, MOSAI (Mombusho Scholars Association of India) & The University of Tokyo.

Chief Guest H.E. Mr. Takeshi Yagi, Ambassador of Japan to India, inaugurated the fair. The inauguration was followed by a seminar on Study in Japan which gave lot of information about the country, scope of education, cost of living for the students, etc.

The universities that took part in the event displayed booths for counselling to attend to queries. To give the visitors a glimpse of Japenese culture, Origami, Tea ceremony, Japanese dolls, Robot, and other videos were showcased.

The Japan Education Fair 2014 presented a good opportunity for those seeking higher education in Japan.
