JAM 2016: Admission process for M.Sc programmes begins today

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has invited application from eligible candidates to offer admissions to JAM M.Sc 2016.

Candidates who have qualified in the JAM 2016 can apply for admissions to the various courses. The last date to submit online application is April 27, 2016.

Candidates should log into JOAPS (official website) to fill in the admission form. Qualified candidates can change their category while applying for admission.

JAM 2016 examination was held on February 07, 2016 by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.

Candidates who are seeking admissions should submit the following documents:

  • Class 12 or HSC marksheet
  • Qualifying degree: If the candidate has completed the degree course, he/she has to submit the marksheet of all semesters/years
  • National certificate for general category: Candidates are required to submit the birth certificate or voter ID or first page of passport or school/college transfer certificates (TC) showing nationality or Nationality Certificate issued by an authorised government agency.
  • If applicants are unable to upload their Nationality Certificate at the time of admission, they can submit the same during the time of admission
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC (NCL) category need category certificates, while PWD certificate would be required for aspirants belonging to PWD category.
