New Delhi, May 7: An international conference on education would be held in Gandhinagar in November, showcasing India's achievement in the sector.
"The conference will be an opportunity to showcase to the world India's achievement in addressing issues related to quality, equity and access besides best practices in the field of school and higher education," HRD Minister Smriti Irani said in Lok Sabha.
In a written reply, she said the conference will also seek to understand best policy interventions and outcomes of measures undertaken in other countries, she said.
