InOpen Technologies ties up with Tata Class Edge

New Delhi, October 2014: InOpen Technologies, an education start up has tied up with Tata ClassEdge (a group company of Tata), a leading provider of technology-enabled educational solution for schools. The partnership aims to impart thinking skills through computer science education.

The motive of the tie up is to build a unique computer education approach in schools.They would take a practical step-by-step approach to equip students with the skills required for creating computer programs and applications,which is required is to orient students to think analytically and approach technology with an open and creative mind.

Most of the computer science content available today is focussed on making students memorize procedural steps or definitions of different software and hardware components. Computer Masti, InOpen's flagship computer science program, on the other hand, is directed towards enabling students to develop algorithmic thinking - the foundational skill to effective programming. It is already being used by more than 600,000 students across 330+ schools India with pilots in Japan, Middle East and USA.

Computer Masti has been developed by IIT Bombay and InOpen with focus on providing innovative Computer Science curriculum for K-12 schools.
