Constant innovation and new technology are the key to provide quality education to a large section of people, UIDAI Chairman Nandan Nilekani said.
"Today there is a big need for multi-disciplinary learning. Constant innovation and new technology are particularly relevant in a country like India in bringing quality, speed and scale to provide quality education to a large section of people," he said.
He was delivering keynote address at 'Bridge Briefings', a brain storming session organised by BRIDGE School of Management at its first learning centre at Gurgaon.
The programme consisted of two panel discussions, "The changing trends and future of Continuing Education", and "Will technology be a game changer for continuing higher education in India".
BRIDGE School of Management, which is a joint venture between Apollo Global, Inc. (USA), and HT Media Ltd, aims to address the talent needs of the industry by bridging the gap between the current skill-sets of working professionals and that required by the Industry.
"We plan to have 50 state-of-the-art centres right in the middle of corporate hubs across the nation in the next 10 years.
