IIT professors will take virtual classes for 100 engineering colleges

Chosen 100 engineering colleges are to get virtual lessons from professors of IIT, which is a great deal for all the colleges which are included.

 

A senior official in the HRD ministry said, "Engineering apart, we hope to launch similar virtual modules across several other disciplines. The virtual lectures will be recorded and later put on a QEEE portal that is being developed and later we hope to also broadcast them."

The is a demand for funding in technology for from this novel education oriented project. The 100 colleges which are selected are busy putting things up like expected infrastructure-servers in adequately cooled rooms which are well-equipped, Internet connectivity of 4mbps, stable LAN between institute server and classroom desktops and student PCs, two projectors in classrooms, screens, audio and video systems, cameras with tripods and DTH set top boxes among the other things required.

Virtual lessons for 100 engineering colleges

This is expected to be a great way of educating those students in need of lessons to go ahead with their career.
