IIM Indore: Math Not Mandatory For IPM Course Applications

IIM Indore revoked its decisions to make Class 12 Mathematics a primary criterion for applying to 5 year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at the institute. This decision was taken on the appeal of applicants for the IPM course, as the candidates appearing for the entrance exam sent emails to IIM Indore regarding their concern.

To get better students, the IIM-Indore had made eligibility criteria difficult for this academic session.

According to the authority, the students without a mathematics background also face difficulty to cope up with the curriculum as mathematics is included in a few management subjects. But after a huge cry from the aspirants, the institute has decided to give relaxation at least for a year.
