How many colleges are affiliated to ComedK?

The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), Bangalore is all set to conduct Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET 2014) for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, engineering courses, commencing in 2014.

COMEDK UGET 2014 is scheduled to be held on 11th May 2014. The UGET 2014 online application form is available in the official website.

Even, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore is also conducting the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to medical, dental, engineering and agriculture courses in government colleges across the state.

CET 2014 is scheduled to be held on 01st, 02nd and 03rd May 2014.

Comedk is conducting the UGET 2014 entrance exam only for the colleges affiliated to it.

So, how many colleges and seats are available for admission to above courses through ComedK?

According to the official website of ComedK, there are 14 medical, 25 dental and more than 150 engineering colleges which accept the UGET 2014 scores for their courses admissions.

Over 20,000 seats are available for admission though ComedK UGET 2014 scores.

COMEDK has been assigned the task of organising a Common Entrance Test for the academic year 2014-2015.

The COMEDK entrance test is being considered as an exercise to shortlist an inter se merit of candidates for grant of admission in a fair and transparent manner. The publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counselling (single window system), so far as member institutions are concerned.
