Educational Qualification & Experience:

Sr. Technical Assistant:
- Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering Civil/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mining/ Computer Sc. & Engg) of three years duration in appropriate field OR B.Sc. in appropriate field (Physics/Geology/Chemistry)
- with experience in handling of scientific instruments in workshop/ laboratory/ industry and computer applications as per requirement.
- Experience - 8 years relevant experience with a GP of ₹ 4,200/- or equivalent
- [For internal candidates - 8 years' experience in the post of Technical Assistant or Equivalent]
Sr. Scientific Assistant:
- Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering (Civil/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mining/ Computer Sc. & Engg) of three years duration in appropriate field OR B.Sc. in appropriate field (Physics/ Geology/ Chemistry)
- with experience in handling of scientific instruments in workshop/laboratory/industry and computer applications as per requirement.
- Experience - 8 years relevant experience with a GP of ₹ 4,200/- or equivalent

Technical Assistant:
- Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering Civil/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mining/ Computer Sc. & Engg.) of three years duration in appropriate field OR B.Sc. in appropriate field (Physics/Geology/Chemistry)
- with experience in handling of scientific instruments in workshop/ laboratory/ industry and computer applications as per requirement.
- Experience - 8 years relevant experience with GP of ₹ 2,800/- or equivalent.
Scientific Assistant:
- Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering (Civil/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mining/ Computer Sc. & Engg) of three years duration in appropriate field OR B.Sc. in appropriate field (Physics/ Geology/ Chemistry)
- with experience in handling of scientific instruments in workshop/laboratory/industry and computer applications as per requirement.
- Experience - 8 years relevant experience with a GP of ₹ 2,800/-or equivalent.
Junior Engineer (Civil):
- Three years diploma in Civil Engineering with 55% marks from a recognized institute
- with a minimum Eight years' experience with a Grade Pay of ₹ 2,800/- or equivalent and proficiency in computer applications.
Electrical Supervisor:
- Three years diploma in Electrical Engineering with 55% marks from a recognized institute
- with a minimum Eight years' experience with a Grade Pay of ₹ 2,800/- or equivalent and proficiency in computer applications.

Application Fee: ₹ 100/- Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Registrar, ISM Dhanbad' payable at Dhanbad) to the Deputy Registrar (Estt.), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad - 826 004. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying any fees.
