Google India today opened in an all new form with a wish for children's day. In its children's day doodle, it showed kids playing happily in harmony with nature, representing its theme for the occassion.

The doodle has been drawn by 11-year-old Anvita Prashant Telang from Pune through the 'Doodle 4 Google' contest that was conducted this year.

Anvita had submitted the design to Google India on the theme - "If I could teach anyone anything, it would be". Through her drawing, she has meant to portray the message "enjoy every moment of your life".

Anvitha is doing her sixth standard from Vibgyor High School in Balewadi. She loves to draw and wanted to showcase "how to value little and simple things in our lives as they are great sources of happiness". Her belief is that people need to slow down to lead a happy and fulfilling life.

Through her doodle, Anvita drew happy kids having fun in the simple pleasures of life. Kids seen enjoying nature, dreaming, playing and kite and balloon flying were incorporated in her drawing.

A statement from Google India read, "Eleven year-old Anvita Prashant Telang from Vibgyor High School, Balewadi, Pune has been chosen as the national winner with her imaginative, thoughtful and inspiring doodle, titled "Enjoy Every Moment."

"Her creativity and vision towards developing a 'a better world and healthy lifestyle' is well reflected through her colorful doodle where she has showcased how everyone should 'Enjoy Every Moment' and appreciate the simple things around us and live a stress free life," it added.

Children's day or Bal divas is celebrated every year on November 14 in India in memory of Former Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, who was noted for his fondness for children.
