Google, Facebook offers Rs 1.5 crore to IIIT Hyderabad students

The Internet giant Google and social networking site Facebook had offered a job offer for an average pay package of Rs 1.5 crore for Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad students.

IIIT Hyderabad student gets Rs 1.5 crore package

As per the Placement Head of IIIT Hyderabad, Devi Prasad, more than 110 students have been placed in 16 multinational companies. Among them Google Mountain View, California has offered jobs to 6 students and Facebook, Menlo Park, California has offered jobs to 5 students.

More than 120 firms have been registered for placements. The firms visited the campus placement process are Microsoft, Google, Linkedin, Amazon, Walmart, Citrix, R&D, DE Shaw, Flipkart, Adobe and other. [IIT-Kanpur students turn down Rs 1 crore Job offers]

According to the reports, since 2011, IIT Hyderabad is achieving 100% in placements.
