Engineering Service exam 2014 by UPSC

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for Engineering Service examination for the academic year 2014. Eligible students can apply online by logging on to the official website of UPSC.

Eligibility:

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for the admission to the examination. If any candidate fails to fulfil the condition his or her application will be rejected. The admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of e-admission certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/ her candidature has been cleared by the commission.

How to apply:

Candidates can only apply online by visiting the official website of UPSC. Once they logged on to the website, they need t o follow set of detailed instructions given on the website in order to complete the application form.

The eligible candidates will be issued an e-admission certificate three weeks prior to the commencement of examination. Students can download this certificate from the website of the UPSC. Students need to note that UPSC will not be sending any e-admission certificate through post.

About the examination:

The examination will consist of objective type questions and there will be a negative marking for the wrong answers.
