AICTE had conducted the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) September 2014 on September 25, today across the country. More than 50,000 students wrote the examination. It is 5 day test window beginning from September 25 and will end on September 29, 2014.

Meanwhile, AICTE has cancelled the Srinagar centre for conducting of the CMAT September 2014-15, due to the floods in Kashmir valley.

Exam went smooth without any disruptions, according to the students and they did not find any unexpected questions and exam paper is average.

CMAT 2014 contained a total of 100 questions from 4 sections with 25 questions each.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation:
The section contained moderatly easy questions which could be solved easily. This section had questions from the topics like time and distance, ratio and proportion, percentage, linear equation, Venn diagram, logarithm, probability.

Logical Reasoning:
The section had questions from the different topics - logic, data sufficiency, statement assumptions, statement conclusions, analogy. Students who have answered atleast 17-20 questions from this section, could be the toppers in this section.

English Comprehension:
This section had questions like spotting errors in sentences, grammar, verbs and tenses. Students felt that it was easy to answer these questions.

General Awareness:
This is the section where students can expect general knowledge questions. It was bit tough to answer this section. This section contained questions related to current national and international events.

Since the question paper was not tough, the students can expect good scores and can hope to get admissions to MBA and PGDM in any of the top B-schools.
