A total of 1.19,025 lakh candidates appeared for Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination.
Around 61,671 boys and 57,354 girls appeared for the examination which was held at 327 centres across the Kerala state.
Co-ordination of KEAM 2014 was being looked at by 25 liason officers and a total of 22,000 invigilators as well as 332 chief superintendents plus an equal number of observers, representatives of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), as per reports.
CEE is all set to conduct Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical (KEAM) entrance exam for admission to engineering, architecture and medical courses across the state.
CEE provides admission to 13 government, 24 aided and 113 private engineering colleges through KEAM 2014 scores.
Around 92,000 engineering seats are available for admissions in Kerala.
KEAM 2014 is scheduled to be held on 21st to 23rd April 2014.
