Exam Fees Revised At IGNOU After 7 Years

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has finally taken a call to increase the examination fee from 60 to 120, according to reports. IGNOU's regional director P. Sivaswaroop, said, "the fee was revised this month and it has been done after a very long time". The changes in examination fees at the institution was made after almost 7 long years.

IGNOU is has made education convenient for Indian students. IGNOU offers quality education in various courses at post-graduation and under-gradation levels. The university also offers short term professional courses at a very less fee.

In Nagpur, Maharashtra, the institution offers region specific programmes as per the need of students. For instance, it gives agricultural and dairy sector education to those in Vidarbha district while gives more opportunities to women in Gadchiroli district, with a number of medical courses including nursing day care.

IGNOU is also known for collaborating with other renowned universities to reach students and to offer better quality education at affordable fee. It has tied-up with School of Open Learning (SOL), Delhi University and also is making efforts to tie-up with regional institutions to reach every students. The institutions is also known to provide bulk of e-notes.
