DU Admissions 2016: 4th Cut-off Out, Popular Courses Seats Available

The fourth cut-off list for Delhi University admissions has been released today. According to the list released, seats in some popular courses at several well-known colleges are still available for admissions.

The cut-off marks shows a decline of about 0.25 to 4 percent marks.

Delhi University is conducting admissions for its undergraduate courses across its affiliated colleges.

To everyone's surprise, Economics (honours) seats are still available for admissions at SRCC with a cut-off percentage at 97.25%.

B.Com course seats are available at Ramjas college for students securing 96.25% marks, at SRCC cut-off for B.Com is 97%, College of Vocational Studies 95%, Arobindo at 94.75%.

To the students relief, B.Com seats available will be announced by the DU later in the fifth cut-off list.

However, candidates belonging to the reserved category have adequate options for admissions into these courses in the fourth cut-off list.

For general category students, admissions in the fourth cut-off list is limited to Science stream for Chemistry, Physical sciences and Mathematics courses.

DU Admissions 2016: 4th Cut-off Released

Delhi University had received about 2.5 lakh applications for 54,000 seats available in 63 colleges affiliated to the Delhi University for admissions in the academic session 2016-17.

This year, the admissions to Delhi University has been completely online unlike the previous years where admissions used to be both online and offline.

Another major change with Delhi University admissions 2016 is that the university has decided to release only 5 cut-off lists unlike the previous years where the varsity used to issue up to ten cut-off lists.
