Department of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal has allowed the students who have applied for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2014 can change the examination centre.
Students from Madhya Pradesh had requested the DTE to allow them to change the examination centre.
Students are allowed to change the examination centre name in the application form and submit it on 15th February 2014.
On 27th November 2013, DTE, Bhopal had showed interest to accept JEE Main 2014 scores for admission to Engineering courses in the state colleges.
Earlier, there were only three JEE centres in Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior for conducting the offline examination in the state.
After scraping the state Pre-Enginering Test (PET), DTE announced more exam centres for JEE. But, by then, many of the students had already filled the application forms by opting for other examination centres.
After the request from the students, DTE asked CBSE to allow them to change the examination centre.
Now, students can change the examination centres for both offline and online exams.
