Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is organising Annual Photonics Workshop 2014 (APW - 2014). The workshop will be conducted at International School of Photonics, CUSAT.

About the workshop:

Nanophotonics is where photonics merges with nanoscience and nanotechnology and it deals with the interaction of radiation on particles or substances on the nanoscale. Nanophotonics technologies are advancing swiftly with the developments in academic, biomedical and life sciences, communication and information technology, environment and conservation, chemical and industrial areas around the world. In view of this, the International School of Photonics is organising a 2-day Workshop (APW- 2014) on "Nanophotonics". The main objective is to give an overview of the achievements made in these fields to motivate the people who are interested to work in these areas.
