Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced the results of the 1st round of engineering seat allotment of JEE Main 2014.
CSAB is the conducting body for filling the seats in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and SFTIs.
Candidates are advised to visit CSAB website to check their allotted seats. CSAB had already closed the online choice of filling the seats.
Candidates have to take the printout of the allocated seat details from the website along with required documents to allotted college to get admission.
Candidates have to pay admission fee of Rs 40,000 through SBI or ICICI e-Challan or Debit card /Credit card / Netbanking.
Candidates who do not report within the stipulated period to the Reporting Center will be cancelled and such candidates will not be considered for JEE Main 2014 seat allotment in subsequent rounds.
The general category candidates have been informed that only 6,400 seats are available in 30 NITs, 10 IIITs and 10-12 other centrally-funded institutes. Some popular branches in the NITs have only three seats available causing unrest among students.
