Cost of Studying in Japan is Much Lesser than Studying in US or UK

Cost of studying in Japan is less than studying in US or UK. If you are of the thought that you must know Japanese language in order to study in Japan, then you e are wrong, like many other people. Above facts are enough for any international student to consider Japan as their study centre.

Cost of education in US universities or UK universities is 2 or 3 times more than cost of studying in a Japanese university. This was news for many of us which was made clear at the Japan Education Fair held at Ahemdabad Mangement Association, Gujarat.

Daisuke Kodama, first secretary , Embassy of Japan informed that there are 90 PUblic universities, 80 national universities and 600 private universities in Japan. He also made it clear that though knowing Japapnese would help the student but it is not mandatory for an international student. He stated that these universities also offer courses in English in selected disciplines.

Kodama also informed that the approximate cost of studying in Japan is Rs 10 lakh to Rs 13 Lakh, which includes the accomodation i.e. hostel fees. Japanese universitiies also waives off the tution fees.

Cost of Studying in Japan is less than US or UK

As a part of "Global 30" initiative by the japanese government, the top 30 Japapnese unversities are inviting students across the globe to continue their higher education in Japan.

"Japan has remained unnoticed in terms of higher education for Indian and more particularly Gujarati students.The whole objective behind organizing this fair is to break myths related to higher education in Japan and we are greatly enthused by the very encouraging response received in this direction." Said Mukesh Patel, president of Indo-Japan Friendship Association in Gujarat.

Since the cost of education in Japan is much less and language being no barrier, international students can give a thought on studying in Japan. Indian students have recently seen the cost increase in UK education, this might makes the students to consider Japan for their higher education
