ComedK PGET: Seat Selection / Counselling Process

The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (ComedK), Bangalore, has announced the seat selection / counselling process for PG medical courses.

PGET 2014 test was held across 32 centres in Bangalore on 02nd February 2014.

ComedK will provide admission in its 12 Medical and 19 Dental colleges across Karnataka.

A total of 21,579 candidates have been registered for PGET 2014.

The counselling schedule would be announced very shortly on ComedK website.

The seat selection process involves two rounds of counselling. The status of the counselling / seat selection process for each day and session would be notified separately and the candidates are requested to log on to website.

The counselling venue is "NMKRV College Mangala Mantapa", 3rd Block, Jayanagar, (near South End Circle), Bangalore - 560011.

Candidates must have to bring all the original documents which are specified in the website.

Only candidates are allowed for the entire counselling process and no other person can accompany the candidates inside the counselling hall.

As per the Medical / Dental Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test PGET 2014, for eligibility to participate in the counselling processes leading to admission to postgraduate courses, shall be 50% for general category candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to SC / ST (All India) and other backward classes belonging to Karnataka state only.

The candidates who have completed or will be completing their internship on or before 30th April 2014 are eligible for counselling.

The counselling would begin from 8.30 AM. However, candidate would be allowed to participate in accordance with the notified time schedule.

ComedK has also announced the cut off ranks for the PG medical and dental courses. Candidates are advised to visit the website to check for the cut off ranks.
