It has been announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for the year 2015 will be held on May 10, and the online registration process will commence from January 01, 2015. Test will be held in 28 cities across the country.
RML National Law University, Lucknow will be the conducting body for CLAT 2015. Considering the paperless test, university has decided to conduct CLAT exam online.
CLAT is an all India law entrance examination conducted for 16 National Law Schools / Universities for admissions to their undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes (LL.B and LL.M).
RMLNLU vice-chancellor Prof Gurdip Singh, also the CLAT convener, said, "The online process will ensure efficiency and transparency in the examination process. Right from filling up the forms to the final fee submission, everything will be online.''
This year, Damodaran Sanjeevaiya National Law University, Andhra Pradesh is using CLAT 2015 scores for admission. It offers 350 seats in LL.M and 1,700 in LL.B.
The conducting agency for the test will be decided soon.
