CLAT 2015: Held first time online, more than 42K candidates appeared

The Common Law Admission Test CLAT 2015 was held online for the time on May 10, 2015 from 3PM to 5PM. The online examination was taken up by a total of 42,223 candidates. The examination was held by Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow in 28 cities across India.

The candidates who taken up the entrance examination are competing for 2,164 undergraduate and 568 postgraduates seats available.

A total of 45,200 candidates had registered for CLAT 2015, for both the UG (Bachelor's Degree in Law of LLB) and PG (Master of Law or LLM) admissions. A total of 39,686 and 5,514 was the number of applications received for LLB programs and LLM programs respectively.

According to reports, the exam was conducted on the computer based mode and which went well with some minor glitches.

Candidates who took up the examination found it to be moderate although it was time consuming.

The CLAT 2015 results are expected to be announced on May 20 at the official website www.clat.ac.in
