The date for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for the year 2014 has been announced.
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam conducted for 14 National Law Schools / Universities for admissions to their undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes (LL.B and LL.M), commencing in 2014.
The CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2014 is tentatively scheduled to be held on Sunday, 11 May 2014 between 03.00 PM and 05.00 PM.
Online application form will be available from January 2014.
Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), will conduct the CLAT entrance exam for the year 2014.
From 2014, counselling for Law programmes in 14 participating institutes can be done online.
GNLU has decided to conduct counselling online from the next academic year 2014-15.
The CLAT-2014 Question Paper for UG courses shall have multiple choice type questions carrying a maximum of 200 marks and the test will be of 2 hours duration.
There will be 200 questions from English including Comprehension (40 Marks), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 Marks), Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) (20 Marks), Legal Aptitude (50 Marks) and Logical Reasoning (40 Marks). Each wrong answer will result in loss of 0.25 Mark.
Answers are to be marked/darkened in the OMR sheet with black ball point pen only. Candidates will not be permitted to carry the Question paper after the examination.
