CEED 2014: Applying for Admission to various programmes

IIT Bombay had announced the CEED 2014 results on 03rd January 2014.

The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED 2014) is an all India examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.

IIT Bombay had conducted the CEED 2014 entrance exam for design programmes on 1st December 2013.

Admission procedure for various programmes:

Qualifying in CEED does not guarantee admission in any programme. A candidate must have to apply to respective institutes for admission and fulfill other requirements, such as tests and interviews of the respective institutions for admission.

CEED 2014 Admission Procedure

The announcement for admission to the postgraduate programmes in design will be notified by the individual institutes separately.

The criteria for postgraduate admission and award scholar scholarship / assistance are different in different institutes.

GATE-JAM office, IIT Bombay is not in a position to provide information in this regard. Brief information about the programmes offered by participating institutes is given below.

  • IISc Bangalore: Center for Product Design and Manufacturing
  • IIT Bombay: Industrial Design Center
  • IIT Delhi: Instrument Design and Development Centre
  • IIT Guwahati: Department of Design
  • IIT Kanpur: Design Programme
  • UPES: School of Design Studies
  • IIITDM Jabalpur : Design and Manufacturing

For more details or any specific queries on admission and programme of any institute, the candidate should contact the concerned head / convener / coordinator.

Information on the programme may be obtained from the websites of the respective institutes.
Candidates are encouraged to visit the respective institutes and meet the students and faculty of the design programmes to discuss the eligibility requirements and programme details.
