CBSE Class 12 Revaluation procedure to begin on May 26

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had declared the class 12 results on May 21, 2016.

Students, who are unhappy with the score secured in the board exam and wish to apply for revaluation can submit application online. Revaluation procedure will begin in next two days i.e. on May 26.

According to CBSE officials, the revaluation procedure will go online from this year.

Revaluation Procedure

  • As per the official website, candidates, who are applying for verification of marks are eligible to obtain the photocopy of evaluated answer book and those, who are obtaining the photocopy of answer book are eligible to apply for revaluation
  • Re-valuation will be undertaken only in the following subjects: English Core, English Elective (NCERT), English Elective (CBSE), Hindi Core, Hindi Elective, Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, business studies, economics and accountancy
  • The verification/re-valuation will be limited to check whether all the answers are evaluated, cross-checking the mistakes in the totalling/grading of marks/grades assigned for each question in that subject, matching whether the transferred marks/grades are correct on the title page of the answer book and on the award list
  • Re-evaluation application must be submitted within 21 days from the result declaration date of main examination and 15 days in case of compartment examination
