CBSE Class 10: Modalities to procure photocopy, grade verification

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) unveiled the modalities/schedule of fee to process the verification of grades and procure the photocopy of the evaluated answer-books for the Secondary School Class X Examination 2015.

The modalities are applicable for the candidates who appeared for Secondary School Class X Examination 2015 under the Scheme II (board-based).

CBSE class 10th boards started on March 2 and concluded on March 26, 2015.

Modalities to procure photocopy,grade verification

Verification of Grades

  • Online applications will be accepted between June 1 and June 8, 2015
  • Application fee Rs 300 should be paid per subject
  • The requisite fee can be paid through credit/debit card/e-challan by visiting the identified bank branch (names will be mentioned in e-challan) in case the candidate is applying from India
  • Candidates are requested to visit the respective bank branch after 4 pm on June 1 to remit the fee
  • Candidates, who are not in India during the period have to submit the applications online and the fee has to be remitted through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Secretary, CBSE, drawn at the place of respective regional office of the board, along with the confirmation page.
  • The same needs to be sent to the regional office concerned
  • The result of verification of grades will be uploaded on the Net. In case of a mistake, candidates are requested to send a formal letter through speed post
  • Request for verification of grades will not be considered under RTI
  • Applications sent without fee/incomplete applications will be rejected
  • Request for verification can only be submitted once

Application for obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer-book

  • Only online applications will be accepted from June 15 to June 22, 2015
  • Candidates applying for photocopy of evaluated answer-book have to be uploaded as per the prescribed format at the website along with a photocopy of the admit card
  • Candidates have to pay the application fee Rs 500 per subject in order to obtain the photocopy of the evaluated answer-book. The prescribed fee has to be remitted through credit/debit card/e-challan by visiting the identified bank branch (names mentioned at website) in case the applicant is applying from India
  • If the applicant is not in India during the period, the application needs to be submitted online and the fee has to be remitted through Demand Draft, in favour of Secretary, CBSE, drawn at the place of respective regional office of the board, along with the confirmation page.
  • The same needs to be sent to the regional office concerned
  • The regional office of the board concerned will upload/send photocopy of the evaluated answer-book (photocopy) within 30 days from the date of receipt of application
  • Photocopy of evaluated answer-book will be provided after blocking all information relating to the identity of the examiner/evaluator/any other official associated with the examination process as also the marks awarded therein.
  • Decision of the competent authority of the board on the grades awarded will be deemed final
  • The photocopy of the evaluated answer-book will not be given to any institution/school/print media for display or commercial purpose and this should be certified by the candidate in this regard.
  • Photocopy of evaluated answer-book will not be challenged by any examinee in the court of law and no claims should be made in any forum
  • Applications without fee/incomplete applications/application submitted on behalf of candidate will be rejected
