The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has announced the results of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2014.
According to the results, 11.95% of candidates passed the CTET Paper 1 examination and 2.8% of candidates passed CTET Paper 2.
Around 2.8 lakh candidates had appeared for the CTET Paper 1 examination on September 21, which was conducted for appointment of teachers for classes 1 to 5 in July 2014.
Passing the paper 1 is compulsory for the appointment of teachers for the classes I to V.
Around 4.59 lakh candidates had appeared for the CTET Paper 2 examination. It is mandatory to pass this paper for classes VI to VIII.
