BU grants another chance to failed students

Bangalore University grants another chance to students of UG and PG, who had failed in their examinations.

In its academic council meeting with university officials, it has been decided that, one more chance should be given to the candidates who had failed in subjects, to re-appear for the examinations.

Candidates who have failed to complete their degree within the stipulated period of time, as per the University regulations, can also attend this examination.

Such candidates shall be permitted to appear for exams, for the subjects they have failed in, whenever the respective semester examinations are conducted by the University, i.e the even semester during May 2014 and, the odd semester during November 2014 and whenever Annual Scheme Examinations are conducted.

Candidates appearing for the examinations, have to study as per the existing syllabus.

Candidates who have passed at least 50% of the subjects' course papers in each semester / annual scheme are eligible and shall be permitted.

The Annual Scheme Examination will be conducted along with examinations of correspondence courses at the Distance Education Department of the University.

Candidates should have fulfilled 75% of attendance as per the University regulations during the course time.

Candidates have to pay the examination fee whenever the fee notification is issued by the University.
